ARISE OS ("the app", "we") is a personal habit and goal tracker presented as a game-style leveling system. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and your rights over it. The short version: your data exists to run your own account, we do not sell it, we do not show ads, and you can delete it.
Account data. Your email address and a hashed password (or a third-party sign-in identifier), plus the display name you choose.
Activity data you create. Quest and training completions, focus-timer ("dungeon") sessions, gate/goal progress, in-game stats, levels, XP, gold, titles, inventory, and journal/ledger entries you write.
Device data. If you enable notifications, a push token for your device. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or browsing history.
Solely to operate the app for you: authenticating your account, saving your progress, syncing it across your devices, sending the reminders you enable, and generating your weekly "Chronicle" report (see §4). We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Data is stored in a Supabase project
(PostgreSQL, hosted on AWS, Mumbai region ap-south-1), protected by
row-level security so each account can only access its own rows. Data is
encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. A local cache of your own progress is
kept on your device for offline use.
Once a week (or when you tap "Regenerate Chronicle"), a summary of your activity counts — quest totals, training sessions, focus-timer outcomes, journal-entry count, level and streak, and your chosen display name — is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write your weekly narrative report. The content of your journal entries is never sent — only the number of entries. Anthropic processes this data as a service provider under its commercial terms; API inputs and outputs are not used to train Anthropic's models.
Local reminders (daily directive, penalty warning, emergency quests) are scheduled on your device. You can disable them at any time in system settings.
Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data, email shoonyato1@gmail.com from your registered address with the subject "Delete my ARISE OS account". Deletion is completed within 30 days and removes all rows linked to your account (profile, stats, quests, completions, gates, journal, chronicles, tokens).
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, India DPDP Act), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact the address above to exercise any of these rights.
ARISE OS is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
We will post any changes to this policy at this URL and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced in-app.
